David Asscherick is 35 years old, a pastor and evangelist. His dynamic, clear and relevant sermons inspire young and old all over the world. He became a Christian at age 23, after having read „The Great Controversy“ by Ellen White. David is the president of ARISE Institue, a lay missionary training center. He is married to Violeta, who will come to the YIMC with him. They have to energetic boys, Landon and Label. His hobbies are mountain climbing, photography, fishing and reading.

 

 

 

 

 



Straight Talk to Young Ladies (Atonte Myers) – 2 sessions

In this workshop, Atonte will take time to talk to the girls and young ladies. She will openly talk about matters that are important in order for young women to be happy in life and to have a real, deep relationship with Jesus.


Together with her husband Ivor, Atonte runs „Power of the Lamb Ministries“. They produce TV programs for 3ABN. She loves to talk to young people about a real relationship with Jesus Christ.

 





The Latter Rain (Ivor Myers) – 4 + 2 sessions

Preparation for last day events

God has promised to pour out the Holy Spirit in a special way before Jesus’ second coming. The Bible calls this pouring out of the Holy Spirit the latter rain. How can we receive the latter rain? How can we spiritually prepare for the last days? What traps is Satan setting up especially for young people, to prevent them from having this experience with God?


Ivor Myers is an author, pastor as well as speaker and president of „Power of the Lamb Ministries“. In 1995 he gave a career in the hip-hop-industry, after having learned about the Three Angels’ Message. He started the „Operation Global Rain“, a worldwide initiative to pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, he and his wife Atonte work together for the Adventist TV network 3ABN, where they are in charge of the program „Battles of Faith“. Their ministry has changed the lives of old and young people and has helped them to stand firm in these last days.

 





Ellen White – Who was she and why is she important? (Dr. Cindy Tutsch) – 2 sessions

Discover her life story and her character

This workshop wants to show you what Ellen White was really like and what she experienced with God. We’ll talk about her calling, her mission, her personality and her everyday life. Furthermore, you will learn principles that will help you to understand her writings correctly.


Cindy Tutsch works at the Ellen G. White Estate. It is her job to get young people excited about Ellen White and her books. She has been working with young people for 35 years. She was a youth pastor, bible teacher and youth director. She is married and has 3 grown-up children.
