(Papua New Guinea, 16 years old) said to me "mi leik beten wanteim yu" (I want to pray with you) and thanked God in his prayer, that he now finally got the chance to learn how to read and write, so he could soon read his bible and tell others the good news about Jesus … I was totally overwhelmed! YES, it does make a HUGE difference for these people, and YES we do need young people who accept the challenge to serve Jesus at the frontline. David Lumpi is the assistant Pastor in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria. 2001 he served as a student missionary in Papua New Guinea and it was there where he caught fire for the mission field. Since then he has been involved in many mission projects all around the world. He is happily married and father of two daughters. |
